The story of learning Irish dance for a ceili goes on.

Dear readers,

today is going to be the third week in training for my husband Lars. He had an other class traning before and it was so good. He did the skips to the music and they had a good technique. He also learned sides and back two threes. All in all he is doing really well. On saturday he had his first real ceiliclass. During I was on a feis he had a lot of fun dancing in the gruop and I think it worked really good. It was the first time he explained me a choreography in Irish Dance. He had muscle soreness yesterday but it does not stop him from going to the classes, even today. He says, that he still has problems with back two threes because it is a completely new movement for him, but Lars is going to practice them again tonight.

When he gets tired during the class it starts that his hip moves during the steps, because this is a normal movement for him which he practised many many years. The fact, that he is not allowed to move his hip is totally new and a thing he needs to get used to.

He is able to dance the first bars of our ceili now and I am sure the rest will be good, too. Of course a perfect ceili needs time but if it goes on as it does now he will do a great job in april.

How are you all doing?

All the best, hugs and smiles from Germany,

Anna

P.S.: The picture shows us dancing our wedding-walz. This is the world of dancing he comes from. smile
