Product description

Our popular Gazelle soft shoe with a flexible black suede sole.

The new design keeps the traditional soft leather uppers and padded insole, but the sole has been updated from a leather sole to a full black suede sole. 

A perfect soft shoe for beginners who want a traditional design wth a full length outsole for support and comfort.

The new black suede sole balances support and flexibility beautifully.

The Gazelle has elasticated side loops under the ankle for a close snug fit, and the padded insole offers extra comfort and helps to cushion the foot while dancing.

If you are looking for a leather sole dancing pump then we would recommend the Antonio Pacelli Loop pump or please check to see if we still have your size in the leather sole version of the Gazelle.

Due to low staffing levels, we can't not exchange an order. Instead please return it for a refund and reorder the item you need online.

We suggest sending the parcel on a tracked service so you have a tracking number and proof of posting. We cannot accept responsibility for any items lost in transit. You will have to contact the courier company you used to claim for a lost parcel.

We are happy to refund any purchase within 30 days as long as the item has not been worn or soiled (please note that this excludes show shoes and any products made to your bespoke requirements - in these instances we strongly recommend that you are confident about the sizing before ordering).

We do extend our returns period over the Christmas period to cover early purchases which then need to be exchanged or refunded.

We recommend that you test the fit of any pumps or jig shoes on carpet to avoid marking the soles. Please note that we cannot refund shoes that have been worn at a dance class unless faulty.

Please note that our wigs, earrings and leotards are not returnable for hygiene reasons. Please double check the product page of the item you are returning to ensure the item is eligible for returns.

Please include a copy of the delivery note or invoice which came with the parcel and note on it what action you would like us to take.

 

If you are returning from outside the UK then please mark the box and customs slip 'Returning to Manufacturer' to avoid delays and charges in customs. 
We DO NOT accept deliveries from FEDEX due to the high charges involved. If you prefer to send it via FEDEX then you will be responsible for the import charges and please note that the processing of your return will take 3 - 4 weeks longer than normal as we will have to wait until FEDEX confirm the import charges first before we can process your return.

 

The customer is responsible for the cost of return unless the item was sent out incorrectly or is faulty.

When returning incorrect or faulty items please note we will only refund return postage up to the value of the original postage paid for the order. Please, therefore, do not return items using a postage service such as an express courier service which costs more than the original outbound postage from us.

We do recommend that you send any return on a tracked delivery service as we are unable to exchange or refund until it is received by our returns department.

If the original item was sent out incorrectly or is faulty then the replacement item will be sent out postage free and the cost of returning it to us refunded to your card.

Top Tip: If you are in a hurry for the replacement item then we recommend that you reorder the correct item(s) from our website and then send the incorrect item back for a refund!

Please note if you ask us to leave your order somewhere on your property (e.g. in the porch, hide under hedge) so no signature is taken, then you will not be able to claim for a lost parcel in the event of it going missing.

We are happy to comply with your instructions but we do recommend that if you are unable to sign for the parcel that you get it delivered to a friendly neighbour.

If you are not in then a ‘called while you were out’ card will be left.

You can then arrange to get it redelivered to your address or collect from your local post office or sorting office.

Deliveries to Hotels

Hotel deliveries can be difficult due to the busy nature of their receptions desks and the number of hotel staff required to either handle or store the parcel before it arrives safely with the guest.

Due to this we advise that, wherever possible, you do not select a hotel as the delivery address for your order. If you do nominate a hotel please be aware that unfortunately we cannot accept responsibility for the parcel once the parcels tracking shows it has been successfully delivered to a hotel reception.

We also advise that you make the hotel aware in advance that you are expecting a parcel and that you liaise with them directly regarding collecting your parcel after it has arrived at their reception.

Gazelle Sizing Guide

Please measure the length of your foot and refer to the guidelines below for what size to order.

If you require advice on how to do an accurate measurement then please visit our Foot Measuring Page for useful tips and assistance.

This guide is designed for the intermediate dancer. You may want to go a half size larger if you are a beginner or for a smaller size if you are an open dancer.

The measurements given are for the foot length we recommend for each size and DOES NOT indicate the length of the pump as your toes should be slightly curled when first worn.

Please note that this is a guide and does not guarantee the correct fit. For more information on this guide and on fitting pumps correctly then please click here.

To use: Measure your foot and choose the closest size to that measurement. If your foot measurement is between lengths then adjust for your type of foot or preferred fit.
For example, if you have a wide foot, a high instep or are a beginner then go for the size above your foot measurement. If you have a narrow foot or like your pumps very tight to begin with then go for the size below your measurement. You can find some examples here.

Please Note - Every dancer prefers their pumps to fit in a certain way. Some like them extra tight, others with a little room. Combine this with the fact that everyone's feet are unique in terms of width, length, arch type and height and you can see why pump fitting can be difficult. Hence we only offer this sizing chart as a guide rather than a guaranteed fit.
