A Tribute To Irish Dance Dads

A small tribute to the dads in Irish Dance, on Father's Day and all year long.

Although I know its not Fathers Day this weekend for all the readers here, it is here in the States, so I wanted to take a moment to recognize the dads of Irish Dance, who are like this all year long.

F is for the Feiseanna you've attended,
A is for your Attitude, mostly kind,
T is for the Thousands you have spended,
H is for the Hard Shoes you have shined,
E is the Emotions you try hiding,
R is for Repeating the above,
put them all together they spell *Feis Dad,
some call it a job, I call it love.

Enjoy the day Dads, and thanks for all you do!

*Yes I know it doesn't spell Feis Dad, but you people should be use to the way my mind works by now wink

Just to let you know me and my family love your blog smile

Wish there was more Irish dance humour around and not just in the judging (I couldn't resist).

My little girl absolutely loves her Irish dancing shoes, they are perfect and the fact they come from near her granny and we live in Australia amazes her.
