The Feather Flex is built for dancers who don't want to break in their jig shoes.

Soft leather uppers and a flexible black suede outsole mean you can dance from the moment the box opens — no painful wearing-in, no blisters, no lost practice time.

The honest trade-off: comfort-first construction means a shorter useful life span than a traditional jig shoe. Replace more often, dance pain-free in the meantime. If long life matters more to you than skipping break-in, then this jig shoe isn't for you.

Based on customer feedback, the Feather Flex has been rebuilt with a thicker, stitched outsole for better durability.

Feather Flex is available in three width fittings, so great option for dancer who need a wide jig shoe — and to dancers who experience pain in the ball of the foot, then flatter tip option like tips shape 2 & 3 is the answer. Though the trade off is a quieter tip sound.

  • Loud, projected click
    The Feather Flex is fitted with the Liberty tip, the loudest tip in Irish dancing.

 

  • Faster, louder trebles
    A rubber shock absorber sits under the tip, reducing the vibration from fast trebling. Less leg fatigue, longer practice sessions, and the absorber helps project the click outwards across the stage.

 

  • Easier toe walks
    A flexible black suede sole with an integrated Flex Board takes pressure off your arches. The tip block is shaped to make toe walking easier and less tiring — particularly useful in long competition routines.

 

  • Loud, easy-click heels
    Curved Concorde heels project loud, clean clicks and give you a large strike surface for confident heel work.

 

  • Three width fittings
    Standard, Wide, and Extra-Wide. Most dancers fit the standard; pick wide if your toes feel squashed in standard widths, extra-wide for very wide feet or a high instep. Use the Width fitting selector above.

 

  • Three tip shapes
    Pick the tip shape that suits your priorities and note the shape number in the comments section. Liberty Tip (Shape 1), Feis Fayre Style (Shape2) & Fays Style (Shape 3)

    Liberty tip — the loudest tip in Irish dancing. Most material, biggest projection.
    Feis Fayre-style — a slightly lower pitch tip with comparable shape to the Feis Fayre Flexi Pro. A small step down in click volume in exchange for a different feel underfoot. Less ball joint pain as reduces pressure on the big toe joint.
    Fays-style — a flatter tip (similar to the Fays Ultralite). The flatter angle reduces pressure on the big toe joint during toe walks — gentler on the foot, slightly quieter click. Note: our Fays-shaped tip is a few mm shorter than the tip used by Fays.

How To Return An Item (UK Customers)

We no longer process exchanges, so please return any incorrect sizes for a refund and order the new size online.

When returning an item, please include the delivery note sent with the order (we also send a copy via email if you have misplaced it) and send your return to:

We are happy to refund any purchase within 30 days as long as the item has not been worn or soiled (please note that this excludes show shoes and any products made to your bespoke requirements - in these instances we strongly recommend that you are confident about the sizing before ordering as they are non refundable). 

Please note that our wigs, earrings and leotards are also not returnable for hygiene reasons. Please double check the product page of the item you are returning if you are unsure it is eligible for return.

We suggest sending the parcel on a tracked service so you have a tracking number and proof of posting. We cannot accept responsibility for any items lost in transit. You will have to contact the courier company you used to claim for a lost parcel.

We do extend our returns period over the Christmas period to cover early purchases which then need to be returned.

The customer is responsible for the cost of return unless the item was sent out incorrectly or is faulty.

**Please ensure you pack the return correctly (you can reuse the courier bag we sent your order in - simply turn it inside out ). Please do not just sellotape the jig shoe box and write your address on it as this means we need to replace the box on return. We do charge a new box fee of £2.50 if we need to change the box because it has your address or tape on it.***

How To Return An Item (Non-UK Customers)

International customers can follow the instructions above, but you will also need to write on the outside of the box/bag and customs slip 'Returning to Manufacturer' to avoid delays and  extra charges in customs. Any charges arising from customs clearance of your return will be deducted from the refund amount. 

We usually find returning on a tracked service via your countries post office is the most economical and incurs minimal/no customs fees.

The customer is responsible for the cost of return unless the item was sent out incorrectly or is faulty.

We DO NOT accept deliveries from FEDEX due to the high admin charges involved. If you have to send via FEDEX then you will be responsible for the import charges and please note that the processing of your return will take 3 - 4 weeks longer than normal as we will have to wait until FEDEX confirm the import charges first before we can process your return.

Incorrect Or Faulty Items

Mistakes happen from time to time, so if have received an incorrect or faulty item, then please email us at sales@antoniopacelli.com. If the item is faulty then please include photographs of the fault so we can resolve the problem for you as quickly as possible.

UK Orders

If the items is deemed faulty, or you have been sent the wrong item we will send you a postal label to return the item to us free of charge (UK Only).

Please wait until you receive your return label before posting back to us.

If you return a faulty item using your own postage and courier then please note that we will only refund return postage up to the value of the original postage paid for the order. So we do advise waiting for us to send you a label to use for the return. 

International Orders

Once we have confirmed via email that the item is faulty or incorrect we will ask you to return the item to us using your national postal service.

Please do not return with a courier service such as UPS or DHL as we can only refund your postage cost up to the amount of the postage paid on the outbound order. We also strongly advise that you send on a tracked service as we cannot refund or process the return until it is received by our returns department.

Please note if you ask us to leave your order somewhere on your property (e.g. in the porch, hide under hedge) so no signature is taken, then you will not be able to claim for a lost parcel in the event of it going missing.

We are happy to comply with your instructions but we do recommend that if you are unable to sign for the parcel that you get it delivered to a friendly neighbour.

If you are not in then a ‘called while you were out’ card will be left.

You can then arrange to get it redelivered to your address or collect from your local post office or sorting office.

Deliveries to Hotels

Hotel deliveries can be difficult due to the busy nature of their receptions desks and the number of hotel staff required to either handle or store the parcel before it arrives safely with the guest.

Due to this we advise that, wherever possible, you do not select a hotel as the delivery address for your order. If you do nominate a hotel please be aware that unfortunately we cannot accept responsibility for the parcel once the parcels tracking shows it has been successfully delivered to a hotel reception.

We also advise that you make the hotel aware in advance that you are expecting a parcel and that you liaise with them directly regarding collecting your parcel after it has arrived at their reception.

Antonio Pacelli Feather Flex Sizing Guide

Please measure the length of your foot and refer to the guidelines below for what size to order.

If you require advice on how to do an accurate measurement then please visit our Foot Measuring Page for useful tips and assistance.

This guide is designed for the intermediate dancer. You may want to go a half size larger if you are a beginner, or half a size smaller if you are a very advanced dancer.

The measurements given are for the foot length we recommend for each size and DOES NOT indicate the length of the jig shoe.

Please note that this is a guide and does not guarantee the correct fit. 

To use: Measure your foot and choose the closest size to that measurement. If your foot measurement is between lengths then adjust for your type of foot or preferred fit.
If you have a wide foot then go up half a size. You can find some examples here.

**We recommend that the Feather Flex should be fitted extremely snuggly so we would suggest going for the smaller size if choosing between two sizes.**
